Food Standards Code, 3.2.1 Division 2 (5e) Content of Food Safety Programs, A Food Safety Program must provide for the regular review of the program by the food business to ensure its adequacy.
The Quality Standards Appraisal, QSA, is to be used as a monthly food safety internal audit to ensure that procedures and practices used at the business are being controlled adequately according to what is documented in the Food Safety Program and in the Monitoring Records associated with the Program.
The QSA will also prepare your store for the Gapbuster and RSA compliance programs administered by your State Retail Operations Team.
