‘Australian Standard for the Hygienic Production and Transportation of Meat and Meat Products for Human Consumption, AS 4696:2007’ requires that all products produced from a retail butcher be fit for human consumption. Similarly any products produced from a retail butcher shall not be labelled as Pet Meat/Food.
Deli Meat Ends, Meat offcuts, marrow bones, mince shall be wholesome and not pose any health risk to the public.
